Over this 6 week course, we will be covering many mythological topics. We will spend time each week exploring a different cultural/historical mythology. Along with the information and activities I bring to the class, each participant will be choosing a particular mythological character to be learning more about and sharing their findings with the group. We will cover the basics of Greek and Roman Mythology as well as some Asian and Native American Mythologies. We will also discuss the differences between Mythological and Mythical creatures and look at examples of each in some of the popular books of today. I am so excited to be offering this new class.
